We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Stanbee Co., leading manufacturer of non-woven insole boards, to develop a ready-to-incorporate insole package for work and duty boots. The new insole provides unparalleled comfort, breathability, moisture and heat management, and antimicrobial protection.

PR01The insole package, made available by Stanbee, incorporates advanced performance technologies including the Stanbee GI nonwoven insole material, PORON ReSource Urethane Cushioning and an anti-friction lining.

Stanbee GI insole material is composed of a high-denier polyester non-woven fabric.  A special needling process is used in the manufacturing of this fabric, which provides an excellent media for bonding.   The fabric is saturated with proprietary resins that enhance strength, durability, and comfort during wear in both dry and wet environments as demanded in military specifications.  Stanbee GI provides exceptional flexibility and cushioning underfoot and will not delaminate or degrade due to moisture and perspiration.

PR02PORON ReSource Cushioning is an eco-friendly, open-cell, shock absorbing material that maintains its comfort and performance characteristics over the life of the shoe.  Made with a natural based polyol that replaces over 45% of the petroleum-based polyol, PORON Resource material helps manufacturing partners reduce their environmental footprint without sacrificing product quality or performance.  PORON ReSource Cushioning is infused with Microban® antimicrobial technology to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew that can cause stains and odors.

The insole package has a durable anti-friction top lining designed to help reduce moisture and heat, providing added comfort to the foot.

“When the military changed its footwear specifications and wanted a foam insole package, we began speaking to Rogers about using PORON Cushioning as we knew it had the best reputation in the industry,” said Michael Berkson, CEO, Stanbee CO. “We are excited to partner with Rogers to offer the same superior quality insole package we developed for the military to the commercial market.”
